Healthy gums fit a tooth snugly, typically with no more than one to three millimeters of space between the tooth and the surrounding gum. Frequent cannabis users had more pocket depths indicative of moderate to severe periodontal disease.
With this being the case, if you use marijuana it is highly recommended that you tell your dentist. Your dentist will be able to give you the dental care you need and advice on how best to care for your oral health.
