There are several things you can do to help with your dental anxiety. One thing is to avoid caffeine or sugar as these can add to your anxiety. While you’re waiting you can try distracting yourself by reading a magazine, watching TV or listening to music.
Some things you can try while receiving treatment is focus on your breathing. Try not to hold your breath because your oxygen level will decrease which will increase your anxiety level.
