Here are a few examples that people label as “healthy” foods that are loaded with sugar.A bowl of bran cereal.

  • Did you know that one of the leading brands of yogurt contains 29 grams of sugar. That’s equivalent to 7 teaspoons!
  • A typical breakfast bar that contains real fruit and whole grains can have 15 grams of sugar.
  • A cup of bran cereal with raisins contains 20 grams of sugar. They might advertise “no high-fructose corn syrup” but beware, you’re still consuming a lot of sugar.
  • Cranberry-pomegranate juice can have 30 grams of sugar.
